The Gadsden Lower Receiver is precision machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and distinguished by a detailed engraving of the historic Gadsden flag's timber rattlesnake, coiled and ready to strike.

The flag is named after Christopher Gadsden, a South Carolina delegate to the Continental Congress and Brigadier General in the Continental Army. Gadsden designed the flag in 1775 and gave it to Commodore Earl Hopkins, who flew it on the main mast of the USS Alfred on December 20, 1775.

The flag has since been described as the most popular symbol of the American Revolution, and continues to be associated with ideas of individualism, liberty, and distrust or defiance against authorities and government.

Each receiver is machined to exacting tolerances and engineered for compatibility with standard AR-pattern components, with a deep engraving you can feel, not just a surface marking.
